Jared Smith

Jared Smith was born in the Dallas, TX; he lived there until the age of 16 and then moved to Georgetown, TX and graduated from Georgetown High School. Jared grew up hunting and fishing with his father on Lake Ray Hubbard and Cedar Creek; but once he moved to Central Texas and inherited the family bass boat Jared’s love for tournament fishing became evident. He began fishing club tournaments with Georgetown Bass Club and quickly made the Top 6, shortly after Jared started competing in larger circuits including Fishers of Men and Bass Champs.

Jared started his career at Baker Drywall in 1998 as a warehouse truck driver, then became warehouse manager and now holds the responsibility of Safety Manager for Baker Drywall-Triangle Plastering, Austin Division. He became a father to a beautiful baby girl in 2011 and devotes most of his time off the water to his new family with his love Lacey.
