Terry Valentino

Terry Valentino

Terry was born and raised in upstate New York, he started fishing at a very young age for bullhead and walleye from the banks of local rivers. In 1986 Terry moved to central Texas when his father was stationed at Ft. Hood.

Following high school, Terry began working at Scott and White Hospital in Temple and met a friend that introduced him to the sport of bass fishing. Without access to a boat, he began honing his skills at Sammons Park Golf Course. As with most golf course ponds, the bass were plentiful and eager to bite; over the next few years, Terry spent the majority of his time experimenting with different techniques and gained confidence in fishing with artificial lures. Terry still works at Scott and White Hospital where he is the nursing director for the trauma program.

In 1993, Terry began fishing competitively when he joined the Belton Bass Club. Fishing mostly local jackpot and club tournaments, he quickly realized his addiction to tournament angling! Today he is an active member of the Cen-Tex Bass Hunters and fishes a wide range of competitive bass fishing events.

Terry currently resides in Belton, TX with his wife Lucia of 16 years and their two children; son Keegan (14) and daughter Kiara (12).
