Robby and the Family

After graduation, Robby served as an adult probation officer in Conroe and Belton for three years. He currently works for the largest insurance company in the United States as a claims adjuster where customer service, problem solving, and organizational skills are paramount. Robby currently resides in Coupland, Texas with his beautiful wife Rachel. They have been married for over thirteen years and have two sons, Garrett and Reed.

Robby has always loved the outdoors. It started with trot line fishing with his father and grandfather, and camping with his family. His father began bass tournament fishing in the late 1970’s when Robby was a little too young to endure the long days. That didn’t stop him from waiting at the door for his dad to back the boat into the driveway, so he could see what was in the livewell. After constant nagging, Robby’s dad allowed him to fish a tournament at the ripe old age of ten. His passion never wavered, and he has gained experience all over this great state.

8.5 lbs Choke Canyon

Robby is known for his offshore fishing ability and brings his experience, tournament wins, and a Honey Hole Angler of the Year title to the TTZ crew. His ability doesn’t stop with fishing, but begins there. He has a real eye for talent, and understands the delicate blend of skill and marketability that sponsors require in today’s competitive angling game. His leadership and management of the TTZ Fishing Team are critical to its success.
