Just got word this afternoon, that a good fishing friend of mine has passed away at this young age of 47. Warren Cody, of Greenville Texas He grew up fishing Lake Buchanan with me and his brother, Gene. Warren and I use to catch 30"+ stripers while fish out of my 15 foot center console boat. I was just looking at those pictures this past weekend. He moved to Greenville and got married. He worked for E-Systems as a C-130 electrical engineer. After many trips striper fishing he took up guide fishing on Lake Fork, sponsored by Plano Marine..

I had not talked since last Springtime, but stayed in touch thru email.

He was flyng a C-130 plane and testing out the nav system when he apparently had a heart attack and died immediately.

Prayers to family.

Great memories of Lake Buchanan Striper trips, Lake Fork and Ray Roberts Bass fishing trips, Striper trips to Tawakoni and Ray Hubbard, in his new Champion or Ranger Bass boats. He always was one to give up fishing information, too. A family man, Christian, Great fisherman and friend will be missed.
