There's not much to do in Houston besides eat, drink and rag the crap out of your car at a race track.  Met up with a few other Lambos on Monday and drove out to MSR in Angleton. 

This place is pretty cool, it sits on nearly 400 acres and includes a 2.38 mile track, 75,000 sq ft of private garage space, grand stand seating and a fueling station complete with $15.00/gallon race gas.

The track was closed to the public and discounted pricing was offered for this private event.  Usually it's $600 to get your car on the track, but a large group rate was negotiated for around 50 cars @ $150 a pop.  And these weren't your normal cars either…I couldn't believe the number of exotic car owners that showed up to rag the crap out of their vehicles! 

Pretty much a bunch of Ferraris and Lamborghinis (and a few busted Porsches) taking advantage of an opportunity to race each other around the track without other motorists or cops to worry about.  It's nice to see there are people out there that understand babying your car is like dating a hot chick and not screwing her as often or as hard…WTF do you accomplish besides saving her for the next guy?  Drive it like you stole it!

Next time I hear someone say times are tough, money is tight and we are in a recesion I'm gonna chuckle…some folks are doing just fine.
