So I just got done updating most of the events through May and holy crap there are a ton of tournaments!
When I started fishing trails in 2008 it was basically FOM; then in 2009 it was FOM and Champs. This year it's FAN, LSS and Champs (jackpotting).
It's crazy how much tournament fishing has grown in central Texas and there are talks of a couple other trails starting a true “Austin” circuit next year! If you add a few opens here and there and the TTZ Tues and Wed Nighters, I might have to start scheduling my practice (yeah right, what's that?) and tournament days on an actual calendar!
I can't even imagine how crazy the schedule would be for you guys that work 9-5, are married, have kids and fish your bass club tournaments!
