We are headed to Falcon July 7/15 – 7/19 and staying down at Falcon Heights.  With the high water on the way, the only thing we can guarantee is a damn good time hanging out under the pavilion.  I'm sure we will eat pretty good too.   If you want to go let us know !!!!

If the Falcon Dam washes away, we will be heading to Choke Canyon Lodge for therapeutic beverages.

Just got off the phone with Whited, he's coming in Thurs night and will be there through Sunday.

Charles will talk to Charlie Haralson and get the latest scoop on ramp conditions and fishing before we head out.

Update from Tommy Law:

Well the water is here in a big way. I got out today trying to relocate some fish and I could not beleive what was coming down the river. I went south to see how far the mud and trash were and I turned around at marker 8 because of wind. As of 8 pm today we are 294.50 and coming up about .10 an hour. We would be coming up faster but they are pouring the water out of Falcon at the Dam. I did manage to catch a few fish and one pretty good one, but I think I will put in at the State Park tomorrow to get in some cleaner water. I have seen some faster rises in the past but I do not think I have seen this much debris as this flow is bringing us. Other than the backs of a few pockets this lake is not fishable from marker 8 north.

Definately a good call guys… Lets wait for the lake to stabalize a little and then try and hit just right.. Where we can throw buzzbaits and spinnerbaits at the flooded brush and murder them all day !
