Tired of owning a merc and getting your ass kicked on holeshot?

Well I finally found a setup that no bs will get a tourney load on plane with a merc in two seconds or quicker. Plus the great thing is I did not lose that much speed as I still run right at 72 mph fully loaded. This new prop starts with a stock stern drive bravo one, then send it to Mark Croxton of Mark's Performance Prop's in Shelbyville, IN. Ask for the raker cut or raker bend. He takes a 15.25" dia. bravo and adds so much rake it gets the overall diameter all the way down to 14.5". With duall pvs holes this prop is just like a drag prop on take off. It spools up fast as heck bites and takes off like a rocket. It is a sick fast holeshot. Not to mention it pulls super fast through mid all the way to the top where it will hit a wall. How fast it gets there though is crazy. This prop I gaurantee will keep up or beat the new Yamaha (thought I'd save you some dough from going out and buying a new motor).Other advantages is nearly no steering torque, it is like driving a wakeboard boat. No chine walk at all either. All this handling and still great lift.

For comparison I'll show fury v "raker bend" bravoI w/dual PVS

All conditions were in 50* air

50* water

5-7 mph breeze

26p Fury results:

Holeshot- 4.5 second

top speed- 74.5 @ 6800 rpms

BravoI results:

Holeshot- 2 seconds

Top speed- 72.1 @ 6850

With a little more tip cup added in to the bravo I will gain about 1 mph and drop my rpms 50 or so or stay close to the same.

So far this prop is the best fishing prop I've run.

Is that a typo or are you actually running 6800 rpms? Which engine do you have? I assume an X for those RPM's. I found the tempest to be 3 mph faster on topend on my boat. I got the 28 bravo to 83 but the 29 tempest got 86. Approximately same holeshot. And that scrap metal SHO has nothing on my rig.
