I caught wind that someone caught another Lunker so I called T- dub and we grab a few cold ones and headed to the lake. Upon arrive we saw a few guys standing around a cooler, we went over and they showed us a monster. The biggest fish I had ever seen with my very own two eyes. Well stayed longer enough to meet David Campbell, very nice guy. The fish was caught at 7:43am and taken away at 7:45 pm.

Did he catch it on a SENKO? If so I may still have a chance to get mine. I still think their will be 5 more caught from Austin this year. Another 15 pounder is waiting for all of us.

I could not sleep last night thinking about catching one of those things.

You and me both, Dale.  I heard the fish was caught on a jerkbait, not sure which end of the lake.  We had a pretty tough day out there, only boated two fish, but they were pushing 10 lbs between the two of them.  One on a crank and one on a trap.  Couldn't buy a bite on a jig, senko, t-rig, shakey head.  Seems like the reaction bite/moving baits are faring a little better right now.  Saw a few local sticks out there throwing some monster swimbaits.

Congrats on a great fish, the only thing that needs to happen for the 13+ fish to feed on Lake Austin is for me to go to Falcon!
