Jake and I launched before daylight and headed north to one of our favorite spots for the first cast. Jake make a great cast and set the hook and catches a 7-12 right off the bat. That was the largest fish of our trip, we caught several 14"-16" inch fish and added a catfish in the 4 pound range and that is about it for fishing news.

The grass looks great and is growing fast and furious. It should make the bed fishing great next year and easy to see the beds if it all doesn't die over the winter.

Hey Dale I bet I know where you went to catch that fish hahah. I was out there wed and saw a huge one sitting there. She didnt want anything to do with my bait. looked like a big 8 or …….
