Started at discharge. Air temp was in mid 40's. Discharge was flowing and 86 degrees. No schooling or surface action except on other side of cable, where there was a LCRA person sitting in truck. Nothing in discharge. Winds were gusting to 15mph. out of East. Fished the cove to the south of Northshore along both shorelines (Hi-lines), the point in front of Northshore and the shoreline from swimming area, North to small cove with trees.

Three of us fished from 7am to 1:30pm. Main lake water temp was in the mid 60's. Winds gusted at times to 20mph. Water was off color and about 1.5 foot low. Launched at Southshore, but Northshore was open too.

Caught and released 20 bass. Nothing big. Never stuck anything over 18".. Most fish were caught on either 4inch Berkley worms-Tx Rigged (From McBrides) or Strike King KVD small square bill crankbait in Sexy Shad (From Academy). Did not fish the south end of the lake, or Boyscout camp area or damn area.

Love fishing with the crankbait when it gets stopped in its tracks, by an aggressive bass!

Fishing still good on Bastrop with crank bait Sexy Shad and Green Gizzard Shad X-D 5 in the 8 to 10 foot on points on the South end of the lake near the intake.
