OfflineIt was real slow for us. water temp 52-58, good color sight wind Saturday and we landed 8 fish, nothing over 4 lbs. We Launched at Black Rock park on the West side of the lake and fished from the Dam up to Tow. We fished rock piles, bluffs and rocky banks without much success. We actually landed our first fish at 4:05 pm on a fluke and then caught several more on a Senko.
Sunday we launched at Edge water, be prepared for a mess on Saturday with launching there, I left 4"ruts and had to put my truck all the way in to get the boat off.
Now for the fishing news We caught 3 black bass, 1 hybrid and 2 stripers. We fished the same type water and added deeper bluffs and went shallow 1-4 foot without much success. The water tempature started and ended between 56-59. Ice was still on the banks in several shaded areas at 5:30 yesterday afternoon if that gives anyone the Idea on how cold it has been.
With all the sun this week the fish should move up again and start feeding again.
We will see everyone Friday at the Highlander

OfflineFor my first time on the lake, I felt I did ok. Boated 4 keeper with 3 other bites that got off. I caught them on jigs, square bill, and deep diving crank baits, oh and a drop shot. Great pattern! The lake is rather intimidating for a first timer. It took me a litttle time to get my bearings. I found some pretty neat looking stuff and am looking forward to this weekend. I want to thank John McClung, Dale Read, Brian Hughes, and Landon for trying to stear me in the right direction. Thanks guys See you this weekend
