From Falcon Lake Tackle fishing report!

Word is that the lake should re-open on Tuesday Morning. We will know for sure tomorrow afternoon. The powers that be are having a big conference call at 1:00 on Monday to get their stories straight, and I am not invited.. But we are supposed to be back in business then.. I will let you know something as soon as I know..

Straight from Falcon Lake Tackle

July 26, 2010: 2:30 PM I just talked to Chief Meza at (Our local disaster coordinator here at the Fire Department) and the word is that the lake will reopen at 8:30 tomorrow morning.. That is 7/27/2010.. 0830 hours.. Tuesday.. BFT..

Local law enforcement asks that you stay away from the bridge here in the Veleno and the adjacent power lines, which parallel it. There was no mention made of a no wake zone, but let's use common sense if you are running a bank with houses that are still close to the water.

I can't wait to get back to talking about fishing and fat obnoxious chicks that need their back shaved.. So get your bad self down here and catch some of these fish that have not seen a bait in a few weeks.

August 2, 2010: I don't always say this.. Quit your job.. Leave your wife.. Forget the lawn.. And get your ass down here.. I'd tell you how many fish we caught yesterday afternoon but you wouldn't believe me.. Actually I lost count.

And it ain't just me that's catching the fish.. A lot of folks that I talked to are catching big numbers, and unlike me, they have caught a bunch of better fish.

Jim Edwards had a couple of guys out with him yesterday and they had about 42 pounds for their best five. And a good friend of mine fished the Tigers yesterday and they had over forty pounds plus another five that would go thirty five plus.

I have a bunch of pics to process and will post ASAP.

I'm just trying to figure out how to get out of here!!
