I haven't touched a fishing rod in well over a month so am still living vicariously through reports and pics.  Been getting several pics of some good fish coming out of Travis and here is one of the Ross brothers from their Sunday River City Bass Club tournament:

From what Dale told me they had 9 fish for a little over 31 lbs as a team; nearly a 3.5 lb average on Travis is tough to beat.  Damon and Scott caught their fish early on spinnerbaits along windy main lake points.  As the day got warmer they changed to plastics and fished the backs of coves in the mid lake area; there was one point in time they both doubled up on 5 lbers!

Scott ended the day with a limit for 18.82 lbs and Damon weighed in 4 going 12.54.

Crankbaits and jigs also seem to be catching the better fish out there right now.

Well' I feel your pain Andy, I'm a month into my shoulder surgery and it's flat killing me not to be on the water!!!  If the winds lay I might get out there and at least ride, look, GPS and try a little fishng left handed see how it goes. Report coming soon, see how it goes.
