Hows it goin guys! knew to the board. I am familiar with alot of you and see alot of you on the water frequently. Travis has treated me well this past weekend. Fish are on the chew with water tempatures staying in the low 60's despite the colder weather weve had. After a slow cold start on Saturday we got on a pattern that was consistent for us. We started the day throwing football jigs and assorted plastics up against bluff walls, which is normally one off the only ways i can catchem this time of year. But with the overcast/windy conditions and only small fish to show for it we knew it was time to make a change. Tied on a hollow belly swimbait, fluke and CB and went to work. Starting catching solid fish from there on out. Lots of 1-3 pounders right on the bank. Came accross a dock on a flat bank and caught two fives on consecutive casts. Pretty sure they were suspended under the dock cables. About thirty minutes later i stuck the biggest lake Travis bass i have ever seen, she came up once immediately after i hooked her and she dove under the boat and just came unbuttoned. I am glad Dale and Tim were not around for that one because im pretty sure a few "unkindly" words came outa my mouth a little louder than intended haha. The fish was between 11-13 pounds an absolute monster! Two hours later we were fishing behind Dale and Tim when i caught that 6-11, i was not about to let that one get away. She was barely hooked but thanks to my buddy we netted her before she could get away. Any ways caught well over 30 keepers sat, best five were around 24 pounds. Sunday only fished for 3 hours but managed some good fish including that 8#
