Actually got to fish one day out of 7 on the family vacation to Orlando.  No we didnt hit the Disney lakes or nearby Toho.  We went to Tampa and went offshore looking for tar balls.  It was Garretts 1st trip offshore so I was a little nervous for him especially since my 1st offshore trip was in 7-8 footers in the dark for 12 hours and I chummed for about 9 of those hours (We caught the crap out of them that trip though).  The gulf was in good shape and the fish were schooling everywhere.  Our captain was hell bent on trolling for big ones, if we would have had our bass rods we would have killed them all day.  We ended up losing a few good ones and catching some too.  No one got sick and everyone caught something so it was half way successful.

We got to fly over the BP spill on the way and the pilot was nice enough to lean the plane for pic's.  We have several which you can see the spill but they dont show when I post it.  Believe me the big ships look like matches in the middle of an oil slick, they aint cleaning that crap up any day soon.  Heard they got a cap on it but how do we know it wasnt a pic of another capped well, either way we cant blame Obama for sitting on his a$$ the last few months but I guarantee they will be calling him a hero for capping it.  Not a bad pic 20k + ft up thru a window though.
