Fished the ABF Saturday morning tourney with my son Brayden. Fishing was tough for us to say the least. We caught five fish total during the tourney hours with only one chunky 2 pounder keeper to show for it. We didn't go to weigh in, but continued fishing since we were both just starting to thaw out a bit. We started fishing a little shallower (the deep bite had been non-existent for us earlier in the day) on some sunny docks with the new Thumper bait by Victory Tackle.

It is similar to a chatterbait, but with an elongated design and a very unique movement. Ran it without a skirt, but tailed it with the new Grande Flash, and it had some ridiculous action! We caught a few running the bait slowly next to docks and had some nice bites before we had to get off the water. Here is my son with one that crushed it! Also included a little video of the action from my phone. On short little demo drags like this it doesn't do the bait justice, but you can get an idea….

Nice video Brian! I'm interested in getting some of the thumpers in 1/8 oz. Do they make them? I got with Jerry on Saturday, he had some Flashes in real shad. I'll trade you for some Victory heads. DG
