Well Brian and I hit Waco for the tuffman, and well we stunk it up.  We started early with top waters thinking the cooler air temp would make a difference.  That for a bit with no lookers then went to soft jerk baits, blades, and cranks.  Picked up a few dinks on the square bill on some steep rocky banks, then had one slam the bait which ended up being a drum.   Tried to imitate that pattern other place and nothing.  Hit the dam and started catching fish on soft jerk baits.  You had to leave them alone and fish very slow to get bit.  Ended up catching a small keeper which was the only one of the day.  Loaded up early and headed home.  Most people we spoke to were struggling as well.
