Yeah that is pretty weak to not allow it in the Elites Series, I seriously doubt the A Rig would have been effective in the Red River though.

The TD at Media Bass made a good point with his explanation of why they banned it. It could face some major rule breaking controversy as far as culling. Granted, you're not going to catch multiple fish everytime, but say for example you have 5 in the livewell then pull in 3-4 or even 5 more at a time on the A-Rig. It was a pretty good point not only from a current rules standpoint, but personally it would be a logitcal nightmare for the angler as far as taking the time to cull down to 5. Of course, that's a problem I'd love to have!

Welll I have that problem all the time just last week I had 5 in the box and caught 5 more with my wacky rig bama rig haha
