Yes Belton was Belton, we caught a few short fish and at 2:08 with our weigh in at 2:10 I caught a 3.63 large mouth. With my partner crank bait wrapped in a tree we scrambled to break the limb and head accross the lake to weigh in. We made it with seconds to spare hoping that fish would take one of the big fish money spots. All was for not, we were probably 4th 0r 5th 0n big fish, they payed 3 spots and finished 41st in the tournament. We won a Mercury shirt each in the raffle. Despite the awesome fishing on Belton, I was proud to be a part of the event and able to give back a little to the men and women fighting for our freedoms and right to be able to play this game! Congrats to the winners and to Dale and Charles for getting a check. Looking forward to the event next year Oct 19.  I said the event not Lake Belton.

I agree Jayson 100%, the lake takes suck to a whole new level but the event is good. Thanks to Marine Outlet and Texas Boat World for hosting such a successful event for our service men and women. I am looking forward to next year as well. I will sign up before boat 185 for the 2012 event.
