A A ATexas Tournament Zone will be hosting a 2012 team trail and have aligned the entire organization around one mission: to provide the best tournament experience possible.
We're confident that our 2012 schedule will offer all types of anglers, from the seasoned tournament veteran to the weekend warrior, a friendly environment built around the sport we are all so passionate about – bass fishing! TTZ has created our schedule based on three core values:
1. Put our anglers on the best lakes at the optimal times of the season.
2. Provide unmatched payouts in the $150 entry fee range.
3. Always listen to our anglers with open and attentive ears.
In 2012 we will guarantee $3,000 to 1st place (this is the MINIMUM amount and will increase according to the number of teams). Our base payback will be 90% with a $150 entry per team ($10 optional Big Bass pot) and $35.00 membership fee per angler.

We've reserved the entire Choke Canyon Lodge for the 2 day Championship…our motto is fish hard, play harder so this will be an event you don't want to miss!
We'll have the complete tournament rules, online registration/entry form, sample payouts and more details updated to the site shortly, but here are a few changes we wanted to point out:
- No guide or professional angler rule
- 1 week off limits
- Draw numbers the day of to determine take off
- $100 entry for Adult/Youth (must be under 18) team
- Must fish all 4 events to qualify for the Championship
Please stay tuned for more information but mark these dates on your calendar, give us a chance this year and we promise you won't regret it!

Looking forward to fishing the full trail this year! Are yall planning on fishing travis even if the lake is still as low as it?
Josh, the fishing on Travis and Buch are both lights out right now with the lower lake levels. Our main concern with Travis was a reliable place for you guys to safely launch and we believe we've secured a location. I'll be checking out the ramp this weekend, but from what I've been told by the owners the ramp is useable for another 40'. Running the main lake is not too bad as the channel still has a large margin for error.
Launching on Buch out of Edgewater is not a problem but running the lake at its current level is extremely dangerous, even for the locals that know it like the back of their hand. If we don't catch any significant rain in the spring we will fish another lake and make the announcement with ample time for you guys to practice.

OfflineLooks like its going to be a fun year with you guys again. Last year was great! Just wanted to thank you guys ahead of time for eliminating the guide rule. For some of us being able to guide provides that extra income we need to be able to fish tournaments throughout the year. Thanks again and really looking forward to everything!!!
