It's on for tonight; Big Bass pot starts at $575. Travis is at 649 and falling so be careful running back at night. The lake level and rate of fall is nearly identical to where it was in 2009 and we ran the Tues Nighters through June without a problem.
We'll probably do the same this year unless the Big Bass is caught beforehand. See everyone at Mansfield.
10 teams fished tonight; took over 13 lbs to win with two 9 lb bags rounding out second and the tackle pack.
1st – Andy Nuyen and Mike James – 5/13.27 lbs – $180
2nd – Kenneth Woodrum and Kenneth Woodrum – 5/9.84 lbs – $120
3rd – Don Gordon and Jon Jackson – 5/9.27 lbs – Pro's Choice tackle pack
Complete results and pics will be up tomorrow morning.

Mike and I had a good time on the water and caught upwards of 15 keepers throughout the tournament. With the shad spawn in the last couple of weeks we started shallow halfway back in a major creek; the shad were not as thick along the shoreline as they had been so we had to move down the bank pretty quick until we found flickering shad. I threw a grub on a 1/4 oz ball head jig and burned it back to the boat trying to locate the shad, once we found an area with them we slowed down and caught fish on a TX rigged Senko and a Kinami 5" Worm on a drop shot. We had 4 fish in the boat by 7:00 including the biggest fish of our sack doing this. We caught a lot of small fish on the bank but the better fish were not as shallow as the previous weeks.
Around 7:30 we headed out and fished a deep dock sitting on a main lake point and managed to fill our limit with another 3 lber. Throughout the next hour we culled five or six times and caught just as many keepers that wouldn't help out of one small area. Fished a couple more spots on the way in and culled once more to get our 13.27 lbs. Mike and I caught keepers at every spot we stopped on TX rigged Senkos, RattleSnakes and the drop shot, no bites on the Sammy and not a single keeper on the football jig.
The fishing seems to be getting better as the lake drops and there were a couple reports of some big fish lost. Good seeing everyone out last night and see y'all on Austin this evening.
