It took 86+lbs to win and 60+lbs to get a check at Falcon for Bass Champs this weekend, that is unbelievable!  Congrats to everyone in the $$$$  That lake is crazy!

Some ridiculous top weights for sure but not surprising at all with the numbers of 5 and 6 lbers jumping into the boat on our last trip down there!  We kept our smaller 5 fish each day for a fish fry and ended up cleaning over 20 lbs daily.

Check out the # of fish over 10 lbs weighed for Big Bass:

1 SCOTT BARNETT BRANDON BAKER 11.57

2 SCOTT SAUNDERS CODY JOHNSON 11.29

2 TIM WILCOXSON ERIC ELDER 11.29

4 TOMMY LOVING JAMES WHITE 11.11

4 CHARLES HICE GARY LAFRENIERE 11.11

6 MIKE KERNAN DAVID WEBER 10.96

7 JW LACKEY DOUG BAKER 10.89

8 CHRIS SNYDER PATRICK STARNES 10.78

9 ROBERT BALLARD CLARENCE VAUGHN 10.66

10 BRANDON TINGEY BRYAN COTTER 10.57

11 BRIAN HALL JACOB BECK 10.34

12 JUSTIN STONE SPIKE STOKER 10.21

13 BILLY HOPKINS JACK HOPKINS 10.12

Falcon is definitely the best lake in the nation and if I were budgeting my fishing finances for next year all my money would go to trips to Falcon, LSS and the Tue/Wed Nighters…but I can't fish LSS so it looks like nothing but cold beer, trips to Falcon and the Tue/Wed Nighters for me!

January can't come soon enough.

Read their story on the Basschamps page, off the water both days by 10:30.  I think I would have stuck around a few more days and put the hammer on them for 10 hours straight

Heading down 10/16 – 21.  Staying at Oso.  Will let you know how we do this time.  Shooting for as least 3 DD's in the boat by end of week…and trying to beat 12.3 PB from the last trip.
