Austin just keeps getting better – five bags over 20 and 22 lbs for a tackle pack!

After getting our asses handed to us week after week Robby and I threw up the white flag this week and ran north with everyone else to fish the grass. We had a limit and culled a couple times for 14 lbs by 8:30 on Senkos, Flukes and RattleSnakes; we caught three or four more keepers and the big fish towards the end of the evening on the Flappin' Hog.

Congrats to Jamie and Judd on that beast of a fish and the win! Rumor has it that 12.11 lb fish bit a watermelon/chartreuse GrandeBass RattleSnake.

Congrats to Landon also…even though the only way he'll ever sniff a check out there is by fishing with someone in the Elite Series.

Thanks to everyone that fishes with us week after week and to Ski Shores for staying late and serving us during and after the weigh-in!

WHAT!!! They eat rattlesnakes on Austin too!!!

It's okay Landon, at least when I took Deano out to Austin expecting to get my check and he looks at me and say's "Where we going?" I was like DUDE?!! you tell me, I don't this pond!! GOT ME!!! another donation… HA HA!!! good times, good times and I even had Deano drinking cold friendlies real good by the end of the night!!!

This is truly amazing. Congratulations to all around. Our LA-Master fishermen make me feel extremely humbled. I aspire one day to comprehend this body of water!

Keep up the good fishing. Good luck to all on this upcoming LSS-Lake Austin tournament. I can’t wait to see the results.

Andy , apparently I should take my Wed night sack and weigh them at the next Tues night on Travis , unless you and Mike are fishing . Congradulations on a great week , first and third ! Robby , I was going to ask Andy if I could back seat next week , but I was not sure if the Master Craft has a trolling motor . Good work Robby and Mike guideing Andy . I was singing " I love LA " last night and we sucked . What a lake . Jerry at Grande Bass was really pleased with the referances to his baits on the site . DG

I hope to win the tackle pack next week so I can get a pack of Rattle snakes to throw myself. The old Senko would not work for me last Wednesday night after the tournament started.

Nice sacks of fish brought to the scales for sure. We better get the real scales fixed soon or I need to hit the gym.

I don't get it, Jamie, you look pissed off holding that fish, man I am sorry you caught her, if it makes you that mad. Next time you get a biggun on , just call for me and I will get there asap so I can take the rod from you so you won't have to be angry! Now Andy looks happy and he only caught a measly 10lber!
