Capital Bass Club would like to invite all of you to come out and check-out our club and fish with us.  It's a great club with some REALLY nice down to earth guys ..and some very good fishermen. Unlike some clubs most don't have a permanent partner.  So, new guys usually fit right in and don't have a problem getting a partner.  

We fish 12 tournaments a year.   We fish all the local lakes and usually a couple of out of towners every year.  As a matter of fact we have a Falcon tourney coming up the weekend of Feb 18th/19th.   If you'd like to get in on this come to one of our meetings(http://capitalbassclub.com/Meetings.html) before then and get voted in.    It's a great time.  Sometimes if we have enough teams on 2 dayers we will have a Calcutta auction on the teams the night before the tourney to create a nice side pot ..paying 3 places.

Speaking of pay, if that's important to you, we pay very well.   In addition to the entry fees ($26 per person) the club throws in an extra $200 per tournament and $400 for two day tournaments.

The "top six" in points at the end of the year also receive money.  

Also, we have a yearly club "Classic" tourney for those that qualifiy from the previous year.   It's an individual tourney that pays very well.  The club throws in an additional $750 to this pot.  It's a one day tourney usually held on a local lake. 

Don't get me wrong though we're not all about money.  It's just a nice little perk, especially with today's gas prices.

As most know we also put on the annual "Bass-O-Ree" open tournament on Lake Travis.  It's an excellent tourney with a portion of the proceeds going to some very good causes.

If you would like to fish this months tourney on Travis (1/21) then come to our next meeting Thursday 1/19 and get voted in and pay the yearly $40 due.   You can also join anytime during the year for a pro-rated amount.

Thanks Brian.  I wasn't sure about advertising our club on here, but Kent Harris said last night that Dale Read was at one of the meetings at some point and Dale said he thought it wouldn't be a problem.
