There is a pea soup colored ring around my boat….it is called the Livingston Line.  Last weekend was 3 days of fishing, gators, and one heck of a storm as my wife and I fished The 2 of Us Couples Championship.  Livingston proved to be all it is rumored to be…a scum filled lake where you catch every species of fresh water fish imaginable (all on the same bait).  We caught over 20 fish per day, unfortunately not all of them were Big Bass.  Friday and Satruday, the fish were responding to light colored crank or spinner baits.  Sunday was a totally different story.  The winds were blowing and the storm moved in quickly.  The thing to throw on Sunday was a Texas Rig Worm. 

My wife, Kellie had her first keepers (2 of our 5 on Saturday).  While she is not "hooked", she is considering fishing the circuit again next year.  Our new circle of friends from East Texas have nicknamed her "Miss VanDam". 

The 2 of Us Couples Tournament Circuit was fun and gave me an opportunity to try and get Kellie to understand my fishing addiction (not much luck).   Look forward to seeing all of you couples fish this circuit next year. 

Tim you should consider a couples circuit. They are smaller events and there will be other women there. I think this helps .
