Mark your calendar for October 23rd and 24th…this is one you don't want to miss!
River City Grille and Texas Tournament Zone will be hosting the 2010 “Gone Fishing for Kids” charity fishing tournament. This is a two day open tournament on Lake LBJ with all proceeds going to the following charities:
The Boy's and Girl's Clubs of Highland Lakes in Marble Falls, The Highland Lakes Legacy Fund in Marble Falls and Burnet and Camp Phoenix in Marble Falls.
First place is a GUARANTEED $10,000 on a $150 per team entry! We will also payout 100% of all entries!
This is an open tournament benefiting youth charities, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FISH WITH A CHILD.
The field will be limited to the first 150 teams to register, here is the sample payout based on 150 entries (1 place per 10 boats):
There will be a special Anlger Appreciation Night/meeting at 7:00PM Friday, October 22 at River City Grille in Marble Falls…and trust us, you will not want to miss this!
More details will follow, but we can promise you it only gets better from here…concerts, giveaways, raffles and more – stay tuned!

Today is the last day to get your entries postmarked and in the mail if you plan on mailing them. Online registration will be available all next week; if the field isn't full we'll also be accepting entries at the Friday (10/22) night meeting.
The Friday night meeting will strart at 7:00 pm so if you plan on registering that night please plan to show up a little early (6:30).
A Newz article will be released early next week with full details about tournament scheduling, events and raffles/auctions.

Had these questions come up a lot, so thought I'd post this for everyone's beneifit. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
• At least one team member must attend a pre-tournament meeting Friday, October
22, 2010 at River City Grille in Marble Falls. Meeting will start at 7 pm; if you plan on registering for the tournament that night please show up a little early (6:30 or so).
• Tournament hours will be from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm each day. You may be on the
water before 6:30 am but may not make your first cast until 6:30 am.
• Contestants may launch from any ramp on Lake LBJ; trailering is allowed.
• Teams must have one member check-in at the official check-in point by 3:00 pm
each day. Teams not checked in by 3:00 pm will not be allowed to weigh their fish.
• It is the angler’s responsibility to get the official time from the Tournament
Director.

Hey everybody, things are really cooking for this tourney. We are at 100 boats nearly right now with registrations to go pick up yet…and tons of folks calling to say they will be registering at the meeting on Friday. We are going to be dangerously close to the 150 mark we believe, so get your registrations in asap. You can take to Jacky until 4 today, pay online, or deliver at River City Grille thru Friday night.
We will start the meeting at 7 at River City Grille in Marble Falls on Friday night. Feel free to get there as early as 6:30 to grab a cold beverage. :)
