We'll be launching out of The Edgewater Resort on the south side of Lake Buchanan.

Registration is due by Tues 4/19 if you would like to pre-fish the Wed, Thurs or Fri before the tournament.

Online registration is available through this link: http://ttz1.com/tournaments/lo…..s-central/

If you have any special requests or questions about registration please contact me at andy.nuyen@ttz1.com or 713-291-4119.

If you haven't fished with us this year please consider giving us a chance; we have a good group of anglers fishing this trail with the best payouts in the $150 range.  The winners at our first event on Travis took home $3,500 and we paid $3,600 to the team that won LBJ.

Looking forward to this event, it seems like years since I hit Buc, hopefully will be able to get down there this weekend to reacquaint myself with the lake.

Never seen the lake before, we are just going to go fishing.  Maybe it will work for us like it did those guys on LBJ haha.

With potential high winds always a threat on Buchanan, teams will always have the option to trailer to their desired ramp.  However, you must be at Edgewater for check in and may not leave until your boat # is called.  Feel free to contact any of the tournament directors if you have any questions.

Rule 7.

Teams will take off in the order in which entry fees are received.  Teams may trailer their boat to any available lake access ramp but will be required to be at the official tournament launch location for livewell checks and official start.

59 teams fished Buchanan today.  Joe and Brandon Bray won the tournament with 21.49 lbs and also won Big Bass with a 7.77 lb fish; they took home $3,570 in cash and $400 worth of Oakley polarized optics!

Here are the complete results: http://ttz1.com/wp-content/upl…..H-2011.htm

We'll have AOY points updated and posted soon.  Thanks again to all the teams that came out and fished with us today…see everyone on Austin in June!

As always, some nice fish brought in and a well run T

We brought the suck on today.  Battery issue and the late start did not help us, but I just didn't see anything I liked.  Probably threw 10 different things, only consistent bite was on the senko, but only small fish.  Did pick up our two on brush hogs, but no pattern for us.

Almost lost the trolling motor twice.  I thought a day I had on Toledo in 09 was going to be the worst for running I have experienced, but this may have bested it.

No plans to go back to Buch any time soon. Excited about the tourney in June, it is going to be chaos, but I think we are going to fish until about 930 and then just get housed at ski shores.
