The 1st Annual Open Texas State Couples Championship will be held on Lake Amistad November 7th and 8th 2009.
 All couples that live in the great state of Texas or fish in one of the Texas Trails may compete for the illustrious title of
2009 Elite Texas Couples Champions.
Open tournament for couples ( male – female )
$100 entry fee if received by November 1st. 100% payback.  Anglers Lodge is the Headquarters for the tournament and Lodging can be
obtained by calling them at 830-775-1586 sponsoring the tournament is Anglers Lodge and the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber will feed all the couples after weigh-in on Saturday.

Anyone else thinking about this?  Looks like the wife and I will having a second honeymoon, LOL.

Let me know if you are, always good to travel in a group, that way I don't have to change a flat on the trailer by myself.

I have a lot of knowledge of Amistad, so if you are interested but don't know the lake I would probably share some info with you.
