Temple Lake Park, Lake Belton

6:30 am – 12:00 noon

Lunch to be served to all participants starting at noon

Members and Non-Members of the Temple Area Builders Association are invited to our First TABA Bass Fishing Tournament on Lake Belton.  If you wish to enter a team, please fill out the bottom portion of this form and mail along with $120 entry fee to TABA, PO Box 2002, Temple, TX 76503 or fax to 254-774-7273 if paying by credit card.  Pre-registration is due no later then Saturday, September 26, 2009.  If form is postmarked after that date, the late entry fee applies.  Tournament rules and details as follows:

1. This is a team tournament – 2 fisherman per team.
2. We are fishing for black bass, small mouth, spotted bass
3. Maximum 5 bass per team with 14” minimum length
4. All fish must be caught on artificial lures with the exception that one may use pork rinds
5. No trolling
6. Teams may fish anywhere accessible by boat except designated off-limits areas
7. Teams should not fish within 25 yards of each other
8. Tournament will be live release
9. Must have working aerated live well
10. Must hold a valid fishing license
11. Each competitor must wear a serviceable coast guard approved life preserver when big motor is running
12. Must have kill switch attached when big motor is running
13. Must check in at Temple Lake Park after 5am before fishing and after tournament before leaving for home.
14. Tournament hours are 6:30am to 12 noon.  Weigh-in at Temple Lake Park Pavilion at noon.  Everyone must be in weigh-in line no later than 12:15pm
15. First place pays $1000, one place paid for every 10 teams
16. Big Bass pays $500
17. Registration fee is $120 per team for pre-registration and $150 after September 26^th.
18. The decision of the tournament director shall be final in all matters.
