Terry Williams – Sales and Marketing

Ask Terry and he will tell you some of his earliest memories involve fishing in small stock tanks and golf course ponds that dot the North Texas landscape. Born in Memphis, raised in Dallas, and now living in Cedar Park, Texas Terry has been around all aspects of fishing. His first job in high school was selling fishing equipment for a large sporting goods in Dallas. When he wasn’t working or in school Terry was out on the lake, working on new patterns to catch fish more consistently on his home lakes like Lake Lavon, Lake Ray Roberts, Cooper Lake and more. It didn’t take long before the bug of competitive fishing bit him, and after winning his first tournament with over 20 pounds he was hooked!

As Terry continued his way up the corporate ladder, he never let his love of fishing venture too far. Terry fished weeknight working man’s tournaments, church tournaments and any open event he could find. In 2005 he and his wife moved to the Austin area for a new job opportunity, over the next few years he forged relationships with Texas Tournament Zone and when the timing was right, moved into a new role with TTZ to help grow sales and develop their trademark brand.

Terry understands the sport of bass fishing and has a firm grasp on the industry and the marketing behind it. We look forward to working with Terry and are confident his customer relationships will help promote TTZ’s products and services.
