The Lodge

Choke Canyon Lodge is located in Three Rivers, TX and provides fishermen, hunters, corporate parties and families a relaxing getaway with a view of the lake that is indescribable. Completed in August of 2007, the lodge combines the tranquility and hospitality of south Texas with all the conveniences of home.

After a full day of fishing or hunting, Choke Canyon Lodge welcomes you home to sheltered parking with plenty of space to park your boat and all the amenities you would expect in a first class resort. And speaking of fishing, across the street is one of the best bass fishing lakes in the nation!

Whether you choose to retreat into the modern cabins and lofts or spend the rest of your evening outside, Choke Canyon Lodge has you covered with fully air conditioned rooms, flat screen satellite TV, BBQ pits, picnic tables, a pavilion with a full featured kitchen, plenty of room for the kids to play and a breathtaking view of the south Texas sunset.

We can show you pictures of all the great reasons to stay at Choke Canyon Lodge, but one thing you have to experience for yourself is the charisma, charm and personality this young lady brings to the lodge!

After spending just a few minutes with her, it was hard for us to head out and go fishing! From late night anectdotes at the lodge to fishing stories; when something interesting happens in Three Rivers you can bet Happy has a story to tell. Charles Whited is undisputedly the best guide on Choke Canyon and holds the current Bass Champs record of 44.98 pounds! Whether you’re just visiting for the weekend hoping to catch the fish of a lifetime or a tournament angler that wants to learn more about the lake, Charles will make sure you have a good time while catching lots of fish!

Loft Rooms – Loft rooms will sleep 2-6 adults in 2 full/twin bunk beds and 1 queen sleeper sofa.

Single Rooms – The Lodge has 6 units with 2 queen beds, 4 units with 2 full beds and 2 units with 1 king bed.

All loft and single rooms include:

Microwave, refrigerator, 10 cup coffee maker, dinette, wide screen satellite TV, linens, boat towel and an assigned covered boat stall (please bring your own cooking and eating untensils)

Full Featured Pavilion – Guests are encouraged to enjoy the views of the lake from the pavilion sitting area. The pavilion’s full featured kitchen can be reserved for groups of 8 or more upon availability. Please contact the lodge for more details.

The pavilion can accomodate very large groups and the pavilion kitchen includes:

Built in gas grills/burners, conventional oven, refrigerators/freezers, full sink, ample counter space and a wide screen satellite TV

Other Amenities – Other amenities include picnic areas with grills, gated entry and covered boat stalls with electrical outlets.
