Power Tackle is very proud to congratulate Pro Staffer Keith Combs on his decisive victory at the past PAA event on Lake Tawakoni. Keith lead the star studded field all three days and even set a PAA record for most weight for a PAA Series with 60.48 pounds! Power Tackle is not only proud of Keith, but of their “about to be introduced” new lure, the Power Tackle Lateral Perch.
Keith pulled this new bait out on day one when he saw how many fishermen were pitchin’ and flippin’ the highly pressured docks with conventional jigs and square bills without much success. He decided these Tawakoni fish needed to see something different…out came the Lateral Perch on a PG104.5-76 rod and it started to bring them in! Same story on day two. Out of the 15 fish that Keith caught for his victory, five of them came on the Lateral Perch and most of them on docks that had already been fished numerous times.
This first edition of the Lateral Perch will be their Flipping Model featuring an Owner 6/0 hook; the Casting Model comes with a 5/0 Owner hook.
The price for the Perch will be $13.99 and will include a fully rigged bait plus a replacement body (initial tests have been averaging 10-15 fish per replacement body); replacement bodies are $5.99 per 2 pack.
Anglers everywhere have been hearing about this bait for so long and are very anxious to get their hands on one…just realize that so much time and research has been put into it to make it perform to perfection. Power Tackle believes the wait will be worth it!
