We had an awesome day at our last regular tour round of 2026! Lake Buchanan shows out as usual, even with the major water fluctuation and the heat of early summer, Buchanan shows why it’s at the top of the list of lakes to hit every year!

Grant Burroughs and Kevin Patterson have a huge day and drop a big 24.67 lbs on the scale for 1st Place, taking home $$4,200 + $1,600 side pot! These guys have worked hard all year on being consistent. And with that consistency, they ended up Anglers Of The Year for 2026!! It was also Grant’s birthday, you couldn’t ask for a better present! Way to go, guys!

2nd Place $2,700 + $960 side pot was bagged by Chris Studinger and Josh Rhodes with 21.82lbs!! Their bag was anchored by Big Bass of the tournament at 8.52 lbs, wining them an additional $540!

3rd Place was Cole Moore and Michael Selucky with 21.00 lbs!  Just missing out on second place money, but still netting $1,800!

Big shout out to all the anglers really showing out this year as we work hard to rebuild the trail back to its glory days and beyond! We couldn’t do any of this without you.

An additional thank you Llano County for their hostpitality and use of their beautiful lake!

I’d also like to thank the crew here at TTZ. So much goes into this behind the scenes from everyone on staff that most will never see or understand. Time away from families to find venues or nail down sponsors, building the weigh in sites, making sure the weigh in software and scales are accurate as well as fish care at the holding tank.
