ABOUT CTWC & THE TOURNAMENT
Central Texas Water Coalition is an umbrella 501(c)4 non-profit organization with plans to unite the 2 million people who live in Central Texas in accordance with their mission:
Advocate for the preservation and conservation of the Highland Lakes’ water supply and water levels for the benefit of human health, safety and recreation and tourism, and to preserve the Highland Lakes’ role as an irreplaceable ecominc engine for the state of Texas.
The water we have in the lakes is precious, limited and must be protected; there is no new water. Your support and participation can help protect our water and our future. You may learn more about CTWC by clicking here.
Texas Tournament Zone has partnered with the Central Texas Water Coalition, Clear Channel and AM1300 The Zone to host this fundraising tournament with a guaranteed $10,000 first place prize! The tournament will be a unique two day team format with an entry fee of $150 per team. On day 1 competitors may fish their choice of Lake Travis, Lake Austin, Lake Buchanan or Lake LBJ. The top 50% of the overall weights on day 1 will qualify for the Championship Round on day 2, the weights will be zeroed and all qualified teams will fish on Lake LBJ for the $10,000 first place prize.
All tournament proceeds and raffle ticket sales will benefit Central Texas Water Coalition initiatives.
If you are unable to participate in the tournament, please consider making a donation to CTWC and help fight for our water.
ANGLER APPRECIATION NIGHT & MEETING
Come join us Friday, April 20 on River City Grille’s “Big Bass Deck” to kick off the tournament. Friday night will be a private party for tournament anglers and select guests; complimentary food and drink specials will be provided to all anglers fishing the tournament. At least one member from each team must attend the meeting.
